Call script library from one base into another

Is it possible to use functions or subs from a script library from one base into another?don’t won’t to import them or similar.

the idea:

to have one base, where you can put your code into script library, and then just call it(the whole library or just some functions if possible) from another base.

thx

Hi

Apparently, this is not possible.

I would say that it is because your code cannot be compiled on-the-run.

IIRC, you can have external script library outside database. I never did myself.

Bigmi,

I think you can accomplish that making a txt file with your LS code within it.

Then, you can write down in Global section of your action scope as help shows below:

’ Include the contents of c:\testfile.txt with

’ the current script when it is compiled.

%Include “c:\testfile.txt”

Doing so, you be able to reuse the code everywhere in your ls nsf.

thanks for the previous replies. script.txt runs smooth(AD). but still: is it possible to call libraries(or functions, subs) from one database to another? or just to have database that has just scripts in lotus notes, java etc, or just lotus notes? forn now Ian’s reply holds.
