Whenever anybody send a meeting invitation to me , the moment I accept it , it gets reflected in my Calender . However The moment I delete that mail from my mailbox , the Entry gets deleted from my Calender Also . Is this right . If so , pl. let me know if there is any solution to this .

This is acting normally. If you delete a meeting message from your Inbox, the calendar entry is also deleted. You can remove meeting messages from your Inbox by going to Tools/Preferences/Calendar & To Do/Display and put a check mark in the box that says “Remove Meeting invitations from your Inbox after you have responded to them”.
