We have offices in Dubai where the weekend is Thursday and Friday.
IF a user creates a repeat meeting, with following options selected:
every other day
if meeting occurs on a weekend → move to the nearest weekday
when the meeting falls on a Saturday or Sunday, it is moved to the nearest week day.
Our requirement is, instead of the weekends being Saturday and Sunday, we would like to fix it as Thursday and Friday, so that for repeat meetings, it should not fall on Thursday and Friday.
Please let me know whether this can be done, if so, how.
Note: I have set the following options and still it does not work:
Days displayed in a week (Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat )
Scheduling - days of week (Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Sat )
I’m certainly no expert but I think you’re out of luck. Just like the repeat meeting has no idea about Holidays I doubt you can change the definition of a Weekend (What if the repeat meeting includes people outside of this site?)
I think you’re going to have to write something yourself or talk to IBM to change the definition of weekend.
Yes to calculate using @BusinessDays but he wasn’t to use the Repeat Meeting feature. There (but correct me if I’m wrong) that you can define a weekend to be Thursday / Friday.
It would be nice if in repeat meetings you could say shift if it falls on the particular day of the week or Holidays like you can do with @BusinessDays.
