Thought I’d post this in case anyone else has the same problem.
I had a user who when they tried to open their calendar (either from the bookmark icon or by using the switcher), it was opening to a view of e-mails. Tried various things including refreshing & replacing the design of the mail file, reinstalling notes, removing and readding icons to the workspace, compacting the workspace, removing bookmark.nsf and allowing Notes to recreate it. This got me as far as the calendar opening correctly into the Month view, but switching to the ‘Meetings’ view would open a view of e-mails and you couldn’t then switch back to the weekly/monthly/daily views.
Turns out that this user had created folders in her mailfile called ‘Calendar’ and ‘Meetings’. I guess Notes was finding these folders first rather than the correct views of the same name so was switching to those. I renamed the folders to something else and it all started working again.
Hope this saves some confusion for someone else in the same situation!
