Calendar.Total.Reservations

Here’s the scenario.

I report that our organization’s total usage of reservations is up from 50 yesterday to 100 today (hypothetical).

I am asked how I came up with that number.

I answer, “The Calendar.Total.Reservations statistic Displays the total number of reservations in scheduling.”

I am asked what that means exactly. I look at Resource Reservations and find 60 pending reservations. I look in busytime.nsf and find no particular way to determine the source of the number.

Does anybody know where exactly that number comes from and what exactly it means? Does it include reservations of resources and rooms? Does it only include pending reservations? I make a lot of assumptions in answer to these questions right now and I would rather know exactly where the number originates.

Can anybody help me with this?

There are several different stats related to C&S and R&R. Here’s what they are and how they relate:

Total.Users is the total number of local C&S users.

Total.Appts is the total number of calendar entries these users have.

Total.Resources is the total number of local defined Rooms & Resources.

Total.Reservations is the total number of reservations for all the Rooms & Resources.

Total.All.Users.Resources is a tally of all local C&S users and all local rooms & resources (Total.Users + Total.Resources). The .Users.Resources comes from Total.Users + Total.Resources.

Total.All.Appts.Reservations is the total number of C&S entries and R&R entries ( Total.Appts + Total.Reservations ).
