Calendar time is off 1 hour

Hello…I have one client out of a hundred that is having problems in his calendar. Everytime he creates a meeting or appointment, it shows in his calendar view as being 1 hour ahead of when the appointment actually is. If you were to open the appointment, and look at the scheduled time, it shows it as being correct. However, in the day, week, or month view, it is wrong. Any thoughts as to what this could be?? Any help is very appreciated.

Thanks in advance!!

I think that happens when the view is built on the server in a different time zone. The first thing I would do is check the settings in the user’s Notes client. See here for a free tool, but you must check all the settings very carefully to be sure that you identify any problem.

Hi Rod…I ran this test a lil bit ago. (I found it on another post).

It said that everything was ok, so I am assuming that my time settings are correct. I have doublecheck his workstations time settings, and everything looks to be correct.

Any other possibles?

Thanks…

The next thing I would check is the stored value in the document. This formula in a toolbar button reveals the raw data:@Prompt([OK]; “Calendar Test”; @Text(CalendarDateTime; “*”))

Make calendar entries for the same date and time on a machine that is OK and a machine that is not OK, and see whether they are the same.

Same Thing - started today - only on one machine - recently upgraded from 5.0.7.a to 6.5.1 last week. Please let me know if you find the problem.

Jeff,

Found my problem - there was more than one personal addressbook file in the data directory. It was there as a “backup” during the upgrade. Once I moved it to a new location, disabled any replication and then under menu File\Preferences\User Preferences…\Mail repointed to the “real” PAB and restarted Notes all was well. Hope this helps.

Check the time zone on your user’s computer.

Thanks Jody, but his Timezone is correct. We are EST here, and in his notes.ini, the setting is 5. His XP timezone is also correct. In his location doc, it is set to use the workstation timezone. Everything else seems to be ok, except for his calendar view.Possibly something else that it could be??

Thanks again for your fast response!!
