It looks like calendar subscriptions are only available in a user’s own mail file. It would be great to be able to use this in kind of a team calendar database. A team could create one common database and subscribe to all members calendars.
Supporting a real group calendar is one of the feature wishes we hear most often and this would be a simple solution.

To make things clear: I didn’t mean adding a teamroom calendar to my own. I would like to create mail database for my team and add all members’ calendars to that one.
This has not worked using a local mail file here.
