Hi,I am trying to find out whether this has always been the situation or if this is an issue with resource and reservations on our servers.
Creating calendar entries works just fine. You can invite rooms and people without any issues. Entries are created in the right places and it all works great.
However the following problem exists and here are the steps to reproduce the issue:
Create a calendar entry in your calendar adding in a room and a person.
Save and send the invites.
At this point everything works correctly. The resource and reservation db contains the entry and the invitee has receive the invite and added to his / her calendar.
Now open the calendar entry you have just created and change the subject. When saving you will be prompted to send / send with comments etc to all invitees with the update.
Click send.
The invitee is now notified that the subject has changed and should be reflected in his / her calendar.
Resource and reservations however is not updated with the subject change.
The only way to get the subject to change in the resource db is to use the reschedule option in the calendar even though the time doesn’t change.
If you create the calendar entry without adding an invitee the problem still exists. The purpose of adding the invitee is to trigger the update message when saving and closing the entry after the subject change.
This causes confusion since the resources db can have wildly different descriptions to the subjects in users calendars.
I have tried the R8.0.2 mail file with the R8.0.2 client as well as the R8.5.1 client and R8.5.1 mail file and the problem still happens.
Any ideas please?
