Question regarding Calendar Refreshing. We have certain admin staff that can create appointments on your calendar for you. They open up your calendar and create an appointment in your name.
That’s fine. The issue is that if the person has their calendar open all day without ever creating any appointments, etc. There calendar refreshes. How do they know they have an appointment if they don’t refresh their calendar?
When the client checks for new mail on the server, does it also refresh the calendar? Is there a way to do this?
Thanks

Sure you can do it, in 6 easy steps:
-
Open the mail template in Designer
-
Open the Calendar view
-
In the Properties dialog click the second tab
-
Change On refresh to “Refresh display”
-
Save and close the view
-
Refresh the mail files from the template
You can also do this by modifying the individual mail databases, but then you need to set the design properties on the Calendar view to not refresh from the template. After you do this you won’t automatically get any of the updates to the Calendar view from the template, so I don’t recommend going that route.
