Calendar opens with meetings (by default)

One of our Lotus notes users has problems when opening the calendar.Either by switching to calendar or using a bookmark, it always opens with meetings. The “show calendar” button must be used to restore the calendar view. This is very inconvenient. Has anyone encountered this before, or has an idea how to resolve this?

We are using the 6.5.3 client with the iNotes6 database template, on a 6.5.3 domino server.

I have had the same problem for one of my users. The solution (in my case) was that I deleted the file “Bookmark.nsf”. When Notes started up again the system created a new file and the Calender was opening correctly.

thanks a lot! that seemed to do the trick. calendar now opens with normal behaviour.
