I’m not being notified of meetings on my calendar even though I’ve checked ‘Notify Me’ on the meeting entries. No pop-up window is displayed nor do I receive an email prior to when the meeting is held.
The hidden view ($Alarms) in my mail db contains the notification entries, but the columns for AlarmSound and AlarmMail in this view are blank.
I’d appreciate any ideas on how to correct this.

Subject: getting the dialog? rebuild the view?
You state that you checked “notify me”, but you don’t say if you got the notification dialog where you select how to be notified. So, if you are not getting that popup, that is the problem. I would try replacing the mail template on your database to correct that.
If you are getting the dialog, then the next thing I would try is rebuilding that alarms view. Shift + F9 while in that view, or Ctrl + Shift + F9 in any other view to rebuild all views.
If neither of the above work, try a copy-style compact on the database, and then resave those calendar documents with notifications - make some minor change to each document so that the values are resaved.
