Calendar notification alarm not working

Hi everybody here’s the problem hoping someone can solve it:we have some users that from their client have access to another user’s mailbox and have full access also to calendar.

But when they try to create a new event in the calendar of this database and select to be notified by mail this notification feature does not work.

Instead if they do the same in their own calendar the notification works. I do believe that is the program itself to act this way and you can only receive notification if you set your calendar using your ID but not if you set someone else calendar using your ID. Does anyone has some idea on how to solve this situation or to act a different solution? Thanks in advance and regards.

reminders are triggered at the client based on whatever mail file is specified in the current location document while the user is logged into the notes client.
