Let me start by saying I really like the new Notes 8.5.1 client calendar UI which uses the arrows to move forward or backwards instead of the old school scroll bar. It looks and acts more like other standard calendar tools that I’m used to (such as Google Calendar).
One issue that I’m having…If I’m looking at my personal calendar’s month view and I’m looking at Sept 2010. In addition to seeing all the days in Sept I also see (in a slightly different shade) Aug 30 & 31 at the top and Oct 1, 2, & 3 on the bottom. Nothing unusual here but, as soon as I click Oct 2 my whole UI jumps to the Oct 2010 month screen which really throws me for a loop…actually, it really really throws my users for a loop. Any way to turn off this automatic refocusing? Ideally it the screen would stay in September but still allow me to add entries to the days visible from prior and next months.
