We have some high level admin assistants who maintain their managers’ calendars. If there is a meeting on the calendar and it gets cancelled, they can open the cancellation notice and a message says the entry will be removed from the calendar but it does not always come off. Sometimes it works fine but other times it doesn’t work and we have found out that if we try to manually remove it and it is a repeating meeting, all future entries are removed also even though you tell it to remove Just that instance.
Does anyone have any ideas as to what is happening?
Interesting.Do you have a set of existing data that illustrates this problem? Would you be willing to share it with me directly so I can analyze it? I can provide instructions to you via email on how to collect the data.
There is one thing you should check first.
The cancellation notice should have an item on it called APPTUNID.
Also, the meeting to which the cancellation notice should be working against, should also have an APPTUNID on it.
Can you confirm that the value for the APPTUNID item is the same for both the cancellation notice, and the meeting that should have been cancelled?
