Calendar issues for user

Have a user complaining he cannot delete/alter/revise his own Calendar meeting entry. He had a list of names and has been using this meeting entry, but now wanted to remove a recepients name from the list and cannot.

Is this a rights issue or should user create a whole new notice and omit the recepients name?
