Usually our secretary makes all invitations and room reservations. She not attends at the meetings. But the meetings are in her calendar. Our probleme is, how could she see on a better way, than in the calendar of Notes 6, if all invitees are available (green). Her time bar is always red, because of all the meetings she wont attend. Is there any chance, that she can invite all the people without inviting herself?

Maybe a better way is for her to open the calendar of the chairperson and creating the meeting there. Then she won’t be busy for those times anymore.
The only thing that needs to be done is that people allow the secretary to manage their calendar (in Tools-Preferences-Delegation).

Thank you for your response! It’s a possibility. But I’m searching for another way. Because of the very private information in the calendar of our employees. Of course they could set the “mark private” option, but it isn’t in use at the moment.

Maybe an option to change the Chair of a meeting should be suggested over in the 6.5 forum. Too late for implementation now but for later…

The group calendar is not the solution for the problem.Have you ever made an invitation at the group calendar? Have you ever made an invitation, without beeing the chair? Have you ever made an invitation, without getting an calendar entry in your mailfile?
