Calendar invitations - .ics files - Notes and Outlook

Dear All,

I have installed Lotus Notes 8 and customized it via POP/SMTP accounts.

Now, I send calendar invitations to Microsoft Outlook users.

Outlook users receive an email with the .ICS calendar file attached. In this file, there is the following line:

ORGANIZER;CN=“Mikaël/Mikaël”:mailto:

We can see that there is no email address after “mailto:”.

It causes the following error message while importing the ics into Oulook:

“cannot import vCalendar file. Could not complete the operation. One or more parameter values are not valid.”

If I manually change the line into the following, then all works fine and the Outlook users can accept or decline my invitation.

ORGANIZER;CN=“Mikaël/Mikaël”:mailto:mikaël.donini@gmail.com

Do you know where we can customize this email address in Notes?

Subject: Make sure you have an internet address in your location doc and person doc <>

I believe I have already filled in both Person Doc in Domino directory and Location Doc but the generated invitation still have the organizer mailto missing. Could this be affected by having an email certificate and where else should I check for internet address? Thanks.

Is this for a meeting or To Do? Single or repeating? Can you give a screen shot of the entry with the error?
