Calendar Ghosting not working

Hi there,We use Notes 8.5.1 FP2 in our company.

Calendar ghosting feature (the way to see calendar unprocessed notices in the calendar view) is not working for some users.

Even when the proper preference is enabled, some users do not see the unprocessed notices appearing in their calendar…

It’s pretty frustrating because it works fine for 80% of the users and they love it… but the 20% remaining want us to fix this.

We would if we knew how… the tricky thing is we can not even find a pattern of why it would work or not work…

Anybody can help, or provide ideas?

Many thanks,

Bénédicte

Subject: For those that fail, was the ghosting/autoprocessing enabled directly on the server copy?

There is a bug (SPR #KKOO66F4BW) where making the change in a local copy will not get reflected in the server copy.

Subject: Indeed, it works

Thanks Doug!In fact we now use a tool to set this default directly on the server side - hence why it works for users now.

But this was not in place a few back and some users have set it up and probably on Local…

I just tried with 1 problematic user to open his mailbox on the server, deselect the ‘Display Unprocessed Notices’ and then re-select it. And the feature is now enabled and works fine for him.

Thanks very much!
