Hello, I created a script that creates an all day event by using dates from documents in our leave database. However, rather than saving on the personal calendar, it is saving under the “All Documents” view. If I open it up in all documents and save, it is then added to the calendar. What is wrong with this script???
Subject: Calendar Entry Saving in “All Documents” view
my first guess would be something to do with the ExcludeFromView field value. However, create a new entry, open it in the All Documents view, export the field values to a file and save. Now edit the calendar entry and save it then go to the calendar, open the document, export the field values then compare the values to the other file. What fields have changed?

99.9% of the fields now match and the calendar entry is still showing up in All Documents view rather than on my calendar. I couldn’t add to the “Encrypt” and “Sign” fields, however, but I do not think this will affect whether or not it is showing up in the calendar view. Any other ideas???

I tried your code and found several differences. The ones I thought would make the difference are as follows:
Before resaving the doc both CalendarDateTime and AppendEndTime were blank. After resaving the doc those fields were populated with their correct values. Most certainly one of these is causing the item to not show on the calendar. However, this may have something to do with me hard coding the date values in your script sice I don’t have the same document that you’re creating the calendar entry from. There was also a new field called $CSWISL that got set after the save but I don’t know what this is used for and may be version specific. I am using client 6.5.1 with 6.5.4 iNotes mail template.
