Calendar Entries Gone after Six Months....without using the calendar cleanup tool

We are in the process of upgrading to 8.5 but we have found that some users with 8.0.1 and 8.0.2 are missing their calendar entries that are older than six months. We only discovered this by accident when people were going over their old calendar entries for yearly employee review purposes.

None of the users have used the calendar cleanup tool and didn’t even know about it when I showed it to them to ask if they used it.

Has anyone else run into this problem with 8.0.1 or 8.0.2? If so, how can I disable this?

It’s not an archive issue either. These people haven’t archived in months or ever.

Unfortunately, our backups only go back 60 days.
