I have delegated Mail, Calendar access to my assistant and I want all my meeting invites to be forwarded to my assistant for processing. I have selected the options in delegation to forward calendar invites but still I am receiving invites along with my assistant. We both are receving invite.
Please suggest how can we change settings so that my assistant will receive invites only
You assistant doesn’t actually receive the invitation. They receive a memo with a link to the invitation in your mail file. The invitation has to be sent to your mail file because it essentially is the meeting. When you accept the invitation it gets converted into the meeting document.
Perhaps you could create a folder specifically for invitations and a rule that sends all email with the word “invitation” in the subject to that folder so that you don’t see them in your inbox.
Yes your are right, my assistant receives a link in a document but earlier I never received a meeting invite and my assistant was the only one who used to receive it (forwarded one)
