Calendar date separator defaults to $

I am modifying the calendar template for our Canadian division so the StartDate and the EndDate appear as DD/MM/YYYY - but the separator seems to keep defaulting to a $ - and I get this: Tue$08 02 2005. There doesn’t even seem to be a place to define this separator, based on some troubleshooting I did.

Thanks for your help! I’m sure it’s something simple, but I just can’t get it.

Why? Most Canadians use the American mm/dd/yyyy format, and anyone who wants something different will probably do it at the OS level – which shouldn’t require “Design intervention” (that’s a geek funny, I think).

If at all possible, let Notes use the user’s settings – it prevents a lot of unfortunate accidents.

The property is set in the Display Date settings. When “Custom” is chosen, there are three separator blocks beside the WDMY/WMDY/Etc. drop-down.
