In Designer, is there a way to change the default color for the current day in a monthly calendar view?
When I look at my monthly view, it’s not easy to focus on today’s entries and I’d like to change the background for that day only to a different color so that I can easily detect the current days activities.
…I see the .jar file in the folder you specified, but NOT the style sheet (notes.css or whatever) file you reference. In fact, I don’t see any .css files in that directory on my machine, just the jar file and a ton of other files.
How can we edit a file that doesn’t exist?
Please provide guidance that a user can actually USE to change the color of the current day in the Lotus Notes calendar to something that we can actually SEE as being a different color than the color of every other day.
Subject: In Notes 8.x Standard, the colors are defined in notes.css
Hi Gerald,
For Notes Standard views, we pick up the color definitions from the notes.css which is included in the com.ibm.notes.branding_.jar file which can be found under the \framework\shared\eclipse\plugins directory. This is true when running the Notes 8 Theme found in the Notes preferences. If running with the Operating System Theme, then we use native.css in conjunction with system defaults.
I believe the element in notes.css that you are interested in is calendar > day.systemdate.
The colors of the entries, however, are defined by the columns of the $Calendar view found in the mail85.ntf.
Hi, In Lotus Notes 8.5.2 Calendar view, the current day is light blue. On my LCD monitor, it is invisible unless I lower my head to get perfectly aligned. This is a problem for me. I went to a meeting an hour away on the wrong day. Can you please give more detail on how to rectify this?
