Calendar access and local group

I have a user who wants to give 40+ people access to her calendar. I created a group in her local address book and gave the group the appropriate access to the calendar. I’m getting a ‘not authorized’ when I try to access.The group does not exist in the Domino Directory, and I can’t create one in the Domino Directory either as my manager has strict rules on what groups can be created; and discourages creation of groups for individual use.

Are local groups not meant to be used with calendar access?

Is the work around to just put in all 40 names directly?

Yes, you will either need the access given in the Domino server’s address book (if using a group) or individually list all the names.
