Calculating Date/Time difference

Hi All,

I am trying to do date/time calculations based on Task start and Task End dates. Depending on the time taken to complete the task we are going to measure the performance. But I am having a problem with calculation of weekends.

for ex : If the task started on Fri 3:00 pm and it is completed on Mon 2:55, then time taken would be less than 24 hours and if it 3:05 pm it has crossed 24 hour limit.

I tried to use @businessday, but it gives # of days and I have to do calculation of hours too.

Can anyone please provide any ideas/suggestions to resolve this…

thanks

Use @BusinessDays but calculate the value from one day after the real start date s to one day before the real date e.

Calculate the elapsed time on s independently, probably using @Hour, something like 17-@Hour(s) if you consider the work day ending at 5PM local.

Do the same for the time on date e.

Add it all up at the end. It sounds confusing but it should work.
