Cache not clearing AJAX

Problem : Not clearing the cache.

At onLoad Event…

Code to run an agent using AJAX :

Now problem is if I do some changes in a particular document then it would not refelct as it is taking the document which are stored in cache.

Please let me know the solution.

Like Normunds, I think it is the IE browser cache.I have add a extra (dummy) timestamp parameter to the requests

Ex.

…&time=20070208104159

It fixed the problem for me

can please explain little bit.

Can we add any expire propterty in the lotuscript agent to expire the cache as in asp we can write

response.expire=0 to clear or expire the cache.

Please help.

Hey,

As others have said, it’s not Domino caching the request, it’s the web browser. You need to add the following line to your javacsript.

myAjax.setRequestHeader(‘If-Modified-Since’, ‘Fri, 31 Dec 1999 00:00:00 GMT’);
