hi there, one of our users has a database always opening with wrong view (in Client), so I removed the database icon from his bookmarks and from his workspace. Next step would be deleting his cache.ndk, but the file does NOT exist!?!
Thought it will be created/recreated automatically.
Any idea? And how to recreate the file?
Thanks a lot

Hello,
Did you perform a search on all the drives of that person and maybe on a network drive in the case you’re using such install type?
Also, did you perform a search including the hidden or system files?
Also, the template allowing the creation of that file is the cache.ntf template. Having this template will help you getting this file.

hi Raphael, Thank you very much for the hint, the installation was local, but user has different versions so I willl have a look. How to find out the file location with cache.ntf (on my machine an empty template)?

cache.ntf should be located into the data folder of the notes client. In the case you don’t have it, you can copy it from another computer. (On the Lotus CD also but will require an installation)
