CA Process and Cert Log

I’ve searched the forum but have not been able to find anything…

We are using the CA process on 6.0.1 CF1 (server and client). When we register new people, information is not put into the Certification Log (cert.log). If we don’t use the CA process and select the certifier (and supply the password), the entry is made into the cert.log.

  1. Do we need to be concerned about this? What are the ramifications of not having entries in the cert.log?

  2. Have we configured something incorrectly? We migrated our R5 certificates to the CA.
