Here goes…
I have a server addin that uses a profile document to read settings and save certain parameters. The addin runs based on an interval defined on the server.
Now I have no problem loading and saving the settings on the server. The problem comes when trying to edit it in the client. I need the administrator of the databases to be able to change the settings through this profile document.
It seems to work ok when I shut the addin down, change settings on the notes client and restart. But I don’t want the user to have to do this.
I’m convinced that the session that gets started by the addin is caching the profile, but I can’t seem to find a way to reload it. I’m closing the profile document and database handles, but still the profile document doesn’t update in the client.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
