Button keeps selection focus

Hi,I have created (well modified heavily) a form.

Inside it is a ‘subform’.

Inside the subform is fields. Next to the fields I have added little buttons with ? on them, they are so that the user can get some help.

This is working OK. Additionally, I have set the first field in the subform to have ‘Give field initial (default) focus’.

When a new document is created, its OK, coz the ‘intital default focus’ works to put the cursor in the first field.

However, for ‘saved’ documents, when you open the document, the selection focus is on the first ? button…

It’s a small issue…but it annoys me, does anyone know how to make it not do that.

It’s completely logical that the first button should receive focus when the document is in read mode. A read mode document has no fields, so there is no field to get the focus. The only thing on the document that can get focus is the button.

The simple solution would be to remove the buttons when the document is in read mode, or add some other control on the document that can receive focus.

If there are no controls on the document, the document itself will have focus.
