Busytime--User and Rooms/Resources issue

Is there a way to block Calendar Meeting invitation if freetime of Rooms/Resources selected is not available and Attendees have freetime available.

We have an issue where Users freetime is available and Rooms/Resources freetime is not available, when requestor sends a meeting invitation, he gets a decline message from Rooms/Resources and the invitee accepts the meeting.

We can modify the meeting the meeting request with an available timing of Rooms/Resources and the user.

Can we have any setting in place which will stop us from sending the invite if the Rooms/Resources is not available.

We can check the Freetime, anything else…?

When setting up the meetings, if the chair clicks on the “FIND ROOM” button, ONLY rooms available during the meeting timeslot will be displayed.

there is nothing that will smack your users into checking that the room they manually entered is actually booked.

Had they done a Find Room then only those that were available at the requested time would be even selectable.

Having Notes be more vocal about this is something we have heard before and we have on our list of things to get to.
