Don’t know if Lotus is concerned about this sort of thing or not, but for the record:
The Rich text applet does not work correctly in Netscape 6 or 7, or, presumedly, mozilla when the document.domain javascript command is used to change the domain level (common with sites using multiple servers). The applet cannot read the stored value of the field and gives the misspelled error message

This problem has existed since R5.
