Today we have a very strange date problem.If we create Notesdocuments in specific db’s (NOT ALL) via for example the web, then modified date is incorrect…
For example : A newly created document has the following properties:
Created 16-09-2003 10:34:33 (Initially)
Modified 17-09-2003 13:03:06 (Initially)
After replicating the DB and modifying the document then the modified date is correct again.
It is very worrying and is ruining functionality in several db’s.
Subject: BUG: Newly created document : Modified date is completely different from Created date
This is a guess … Could the Created date be coming from the server, but the modified date be coming from the user’s PC ?
Subject: Nope…it’s doing this on a web-enabled db from my browser.
So everything evaluated by the same server…
It’s even doing it on my log.nsf…
Today’s log entries: Created 16-09-2003, Modified 17-09-2003 (is future).

Check the date on the machine that created the document.

IF I create a document in some db’s on one of our servers (602cf2) using either Notes Client OR web browser (with Server Locale date settings) THENCreated date = 16-09-2003 22:26:23
Modified date = 17-09-2003 21:19:04
On that SAME server, today’s log entry documents have a modified date that is tomorrow…
It’s just that simple…
