BUG IN NOTES 6.5 for windows

I found a bug in Lotus Notes (as an IBM employee, I’m not sure where to go to formally report it, can someone help me)?

The bug is simple: Simply click the Change Document Expiration button when you have any unread messages selected. After changing the expiration date, the unread message get marked as read, even though the message(s) was not read. This could create quite a headache for some users in certain situations!!

LOL. OMG, that is funny.

Why not log a job with your internal helpdesk?

uh, Or you could open an incident report with IBM. But you probably need to purchase a support agreement first…hehe

Yeah, it’s sad, all the intranet web sites here at IBM/Lotus pointed me to this external Lotus site for support. And of course I don’t have a support agreement, unless IBM has one with itself

I’ll try the internal generic helpdesk though, thanks.

No bug like that in 6.5.1? Maybe they fixed it, or maybe you just don’t have the feature I’m talking about (or a different implementation of it):

From Alan Lepofsky:

#1 I suggest reporting it to the HelpDesk.

#2 You should remove (or blank out) your posting on LDD, as “Document Expiration” is not even a generally available feature, it is specific to the IBM mail template.

Alan’s observation is correct. The “Change Document Expiration” is part of the template customization and not part of the standard template. Please report this to the helpdesk.
