If we go to File → Preferences → Lotcation Preferences to configure any valid email address in the internet mail adresss field in Notes Client, this email address we typed in will appear as the sender. Is this a new or old bug unsolved?

I am wondering what benefit is there to have this feature. We could still send a mail simply without filling in this field.

Bug? I don’t think so. AFAIK, it has always been that way.
