Bug in 8.5.2 Designer?

Customers Domino Domain contains an & sign (&).This was no problem over years.

Trying to open a notes application directly with designer brings a passthrough error message.

This is because the servername looks like “SERVER/A&B/US” in notes but “SERVER/A&B/US” in designer.

Is this a bug?

I have not been able to reproduce this yet.

Please provide the exact steps on how you reproduce this issue. Please include details as how you enter or select the server name. For example, do you pick it from the list in the Open Application dialog in Designer, do you partially enter the name and use the filtered list and/or type in the full server name/domain, etc.?

I was able to reproduce the issue by partially entering the name in the Open Application dialog and clicking Enter. This has since been fixed in 8.5.3.
