I have just upgraded one client to 6.0.3. When the frames are resized, so that items like everday tasks have a smaller space on the page than the inbox. Notes now seems to forget the new frame sizing when the client is closed down. It has to be reset each time the client is started.
By the by, the launch pad quirk of having an incomplete box around the items on large resolution screens, mine is 1280x960, is still there.
I ‘upgraded’ to 6.0.3 yesterday and the first thing that I noticed was that all my frame sizing had reverted to the default. So I reset it to how I normally have it set, expecting it to be remembered on restart as was the case in 6.0.1 and 6.0.2 but it seems that a regression bug (or new feature - your pick) has raised its ugly head and we are back to the 5.0.x release behaviour.
I can only assume that the client is doing a ‘full’ refresh (like when you shift-click on the reload button) during startup and this is returning everything to default.
Just upgraded to 6.0.3 and seeing the same thing. One of the big features of Notes 6 we promoted to users was that the Preview Pane “sticks”. It’s not sticking in 6.0.3
Resolved the Preview Pane problem for the mailbox. I had first upgraded the Notes client to 6.0.3 but the design of my mailbox was still off the 6.0.2CF1 iNotes6.ntf template. After replacing the design of the mailbox with the 6.0.3 iNotes6.ntf template (which is now called “Domino Web Access” instead of “iNotes Web Access”), the Preview Pane now sticks. However, it did not fix the problem of Welcome page frames not sticking.
