Hi :-)I’ve got a database that has “enforce consistent acl” turned on.
How can I break in the database when I have access to a client and a server ?
Is there a way that is free and usable for a administrator (not a designer) ?
Cheers,
Henrik

if you have local access to databases “enforce consistent acl” is no security feature at all.
it’s just used on client-side to get roles and other acl-stuff working (to some extent).
“I have access to a client and a server ?”
easiest way would be for you to use server-id to make any changes. not sure why you want to do this, but this should work.
if you encounter encrypted docs or (local) encrypted dbs that’s another task - no way without proper id.
there has also been some dirty hack to turn off consistent acl (using a hex editor). don’t know if this still works…
