Hi,We are constantly running into the problem of bookmarks opening replicas on the wrong servers for the users e.g. a New Zealand user opening the database on a Great Britain server rather than the one on the server in his office. Even if we remove the bookmarks for the remote replicas and check the workspace to ensure that there aren’t any rogue icons floating around, a week or two later we run into the same problem again. It happens at several of our sites. The correct bookmark/icon will still be available to them, but it will be stacked underneath one for another replica - usually on the server in the country the furtherest away from where they are located!
I’ve searched the forums and found that people are running into the same problem with Desktop policies, which was going to be my next step to try to resolve this. We run into the same problem if people run a database search for the database on their server, then click on the link for the replica on the correct server yet it opens a totally different replica.
Has anyone got any suggestions on this please?
