This issue I am presenting seems to be very broad, but let me give you a few examples.
Running 6.0.2CF1 on 2 servers and 6.5.x clients. Let’s say an employee has a few databases replicated. They go to db search, type in a word, and two items come up: the local replica, and the database on the server. Here’s problem 1, if the user clicks on the server bookmark, it does NOT always open the db off the server!!! It sometimes open’s the local replica. WHY???
Another example… another employee searches for a db, and it shows two items: one link to the db on the primary server and one link to the db on the backup server. If the user clicks on the link for the primary server, it won’t always open off the primary server, sometimes it will open it off the backup server! This is ridiculous!! How can this be so hard? Does this happen to everyone?
I really hope someone doesn’t suggest:
close Notes, rename cache.ndk, bookmark.nsf, desktop6.nsf blah blah and restart Notes.
With my 20 or so users’ environments and workplaces established in Notes, this is not an option. It just seems silly that when you click on links to databases, it doesn’t always open the database at the explicit location!
