Bluescreens after upgrade to Notes8 clients

Hi all, Posting this issue here, to hear if any one else has/had this problem, or maybe even got around it some way …wishful thinking :wink:

We are planning to upgrade our users clients from 7.0.2 to 8.0.2 x (standard client).

We have run pilot groups of about 100 users for 3 months.

All clients run windows XP, and have from 1 GB up to 4 GB RAM.

We have run into one show stopper though…

After upgrading or more accurat, remove of 7.0.2 and install of 8.0.2, many of the pilot users experience a lot of Bluescreens on PC.

Some of the users PC crash several times a day, when random use in Notes.

This is most common on Laptops than stationary PC, and mainly on Lenovo models.

We have tried 8.0.2, 8.0.2 CCH1, and 8.0.2 FP1, but no difference.

If user with this problem uses another PC brand or stationary, there is no problem, so it looks like a combination of 8.0.2.x and Lenovo right now. And we think we can exclude users Notes data in this case.

We are trying to get more data from this PC but there is no dump files written. And it happens when doing random tasks, so its difficult to see a pattern.

So the question is, is there anyone else out there experiencing or had problems like this with Notes 8?
