Blue circle icon not showing when a name in CC field?

We are on verge of rolling out Notes 7 on our department.

However have noticed the following :- on the mail template when you are the only person in the To: field of an email you get the blue circle showing in the icon column on the inbox. This is how we would expect it to work.

BUT - if you are the only person in the To: field and there are one or more people in the CC field then the blue circle does not show at all. This could cause people to miss crucial emails (and could happen quite often as line managers are often copeid into their staffs emails by others)

Can anyone confirm if this is how it works for them - or indeed if this is the way it is supposed to work ? If it is then guess we just have to live with it and put it in our Comms to the users

thanks

That’s the way it’s supposed to work. The blue circle means the memo is addressed to you and only you. The half-blue circle will tell you that you are in the “To” field, but are one of several (configurable number) recipients – and that includes when other recipients are CC’d. The white circle means you’ve been CC’d.
