Blowser does not launch upon clicking URL

I have Notes 8.5 Client with latest version of template. When I click a URL in an email…browser does not launch. Nothing happens at all.

Also, when I try to launch embedded browser Open->Web Browser …nothing happens.

I’ve been encountering the same problem but on Vista and Windows 7 systems. When I click on the link in a received email message the status bar displays the link but the browser never launches.

I’ve checked the location browser settings and worked my way through the client properties but I can’t find settings that resolve this issue.

Log.nsf doesn’t show any errors. I’m stumped, any ideas how to troubleshoot this?
