I am trying to use the Dominoblog template for blogging.
What needs to be specified in the site url:
It is showing only http://server/dominoblog.ntf only.
I am not able to see the pages. Preview also is not available.
Does it require any setting by the administrator ?
I want to allow the few Domino users to have their own blogs. how do I do that and what would be the url ??
Any help would be appreciated.
Subject: Blog site url
The site url is just that - the url for your site. So enter the http://server/path/blog.nsf information in there. Notice it has to be .nsf - not the template .ntf that you have typed.
Only server side stuff you need to worry about for preview especially is that the administrator has entered the correct “Fully qualified Internet host name” field in the server document.

But if I specify any name e.g. http://server/path/blog.nsf will it be created automatically on the server.
I have tried changing the site url to http://server/dominoblog.nsf and even http://server/dominoblog.ntf/dominoblog.nsf and few others as well. But still I am not able to see the blog. It gives me error 404 in the browser.
How do I check for the FQIHN in the server document ? I think it must be fine as the Domino server is working fine.
Also I need to know what path should the other Lotus notes users type in for their own blogs, if the installation is done as per the default settings.
