Our user for sales has a lot of custom rules for blocking spam into his inbox. One of those rules of course is the blocked senders list. Recently the user has noticed that mail is arriving in his inbox from people that are already in the blocked senders list. (ie, the rule isn’t moving mail to the trash.
Has anyone seen this before or got any ideas?

Some time rules break and they break in a few different ways. There is an agent you can paste into the mail ,file that will allow you to rebuild the portion of the calendar profile that stores the rules. You might want to try that. It also sound like a good time to review the rules and see if any can be combined or deleted (disable them first, then delete). We see a lot of if A, move to folder X, if B move to folder X, if C, move to folder X. There is also a maximum number of rules. Be aware that it will also reset the new notices view which is rule 0. Also check the Notes Log for Monitor errors to see if there are any blaitant rule issue like trying to move mail to a folder that has been deleted.
