Block outgoing email for one address

Is it possible to block my users from sending an email to a certain outside address? I can see where you set to block by entire domain, but I only want to block one address. In other words, I want my users to be able to email any person at othercompany.com, but not to a specific person who works there.

Does that make sense?

Thanks.

OK, suppose you do that? How are are you going to prevent them from going to Yahoo, GMAil, Hotmail etc from mailing that person there? Do you have controls in place for this?

I don’t mind that they email the person from somewhere else. It’s the fact that I don’t want them to email the person from my network. I know, that sounds strange, but basically we do not want to have a record of emailing the person at the other place. I can’t trust that my users will remember this, so that’s why I am asking.

Server configuration document. Router/SMTP, Restrictions and Controls, Rules…

This was exactly what I needed. Thank you very much.

Have you tried entering just that person’s email? You can enter specific people you want to deny sending internet mail. Maybe it will work for internet recipients as well.

Give it a shot and let us know if it works. Don’t forget to reload the router config. (Tell router update config)
