Today, I received over 10,000 emails from joey27mickey@yahoo.com.hk and tried to block this email address in inbound control of the server configuration. However, it ends up lots of dead emails in MailBox. Can someone tell me where should I configure to block the email address without emails retained in the server.

Add a server rule, and choose the action to delete the message instead of reject.

I don’t understand why “deny connections from” leaves dead messages in mail box.

Good point, after a little testing on my server, it doesn’t do that to me. I reject lots fo messages without ending up with them being dead.
