BlindCopy to Multiple Users

I’ve adapted the code in another thread (see link at footer) and come up with:

Dim recipient As String

recipient = DocCurrent.FieldGetText("namEmailDistribution")

Dim bccitem As New NotesItem(DocNew, "BlindCopyTo",recipient)

Call DocNew.Send( True, DocBack.recipient)

This works but unfortunately only sends the email to the first person on the list. The list is entered onto a Field namEmailDistribution set up as Type: Names and “Allow multiple values” true.

Any pointers to where I can improve the code?

Many thanks.

It sounds like you might need to explode the recipient list.

You are declaring the multivalue as string. Instead declare it as variant :

Dim recipient As variant

recipient = DocCurrent.Document.namEmailDistribution

This should take care of the problem.

Thanks, but declaring as a Variant didn’t seem to make a difference.

I’ll keep playing around with it…
