Blank Screen (iNotes)

This is an interesting one… cannot locate any documents (forums or support) about this. If I access xyz.com/mail/user.nsf (mail DB based on mail85.ntf), I get a light blue background with no text. If I access a non-iNotes DB, the login screen appears without problems. We did make a minor change to our custom login screen (removed a couple spaces). It seems to be related to this change. If I temporarily change to the default login screen, I can access iNotes. Weird!?! Next step… restore backup of login screen before changes. Just strange since non-iNotes DBs are not affected. Any ideas? Is there something that iNotes is specifically looking for from the login screen? I’m not sure what it would be since it was such a minor change (re: spaces removed).

Hi Michael,

iNotes’ code itself does not look for any specific items from login screen. For example it works with Domino’s default login screen, iNotes redirect, and Lotus Mobile Connect.

I think the most straightforward way to diagnose this kind of problem is taking HTTP request/response trace, like IBM Page Detailer, Fiddler, etc. It shows that whether iNotes stopped right at the initial screen () or somewhere else.
