I have a Notes client that is having problems with Notes and the Blackberry. He is configured the same as all other users, or so it appears. However, his email on the BB and desktop takes hours or days, if it ever does, to synchronize. Also, his Notes from the desktop is much slower than for other users. I have checked everything that I know, but he and I both are frustrated! Any ideas?
BTW his mail file is less than half a gig.

Is the BB configured to synch wirelessly?If so, does it synch mail wirelessly, or mail/address bk/journal/to do?
If the BB is configured for wireless synch, if you go into the mail section and select a RECONCILE NOW option, does it force the synch? Is it successful?

You will need to debug the BB desktop manager. This will give detail on where the sync is slowing down. I seen this many time and the solution is normally a bad Calender entry in the user Notes calendar…

Thanks for the reply…BB is configured to synch wirelessly. It will synch add bk and mail. The emails get sent, but the unread marks do not get updated. For example, desktop and BB were in synch initially. This morning desktop showed 33 unread; BB showed 73. As emails are read on desktop, BB is not updated/synched. Reconcile now does not seem to update unreads. I have verified all settings on BB, BES, and Notes that I can think of.
